'A pretty good run:' After 85 years, it's over for Wisconsin General Motor plant

As the last black Tahoe rolled off the production line at GM's oldest assembly plant Tuesday, Karen Green promised herself she would keep her emotions in check.

What a shame...Victim of $4.00 gas........The Tahoe & Suburban has been our top seller....We are the second largest seller of them in SE WI.

We have less than 2 on the lots (not including the TX built Hybrid, which no one seems to want....) and you can't find any left over 2008's - which is no different than last year at this time.

Then again, our Governor does little to keep business here......He did make a trip to CHINA though, trying to get more imported here...He was also the only midwest governor who didn't fight for the new car plant being built by an import manufacturer to be built here in WI. But hey, who really needs a job anyway....
