Question Special or Limited Editions coming for VERTS

Special Editions or Limited Editions are always done as a coupe except the Neiman Marcus Edition's.
Witch brings me to ask, what a bought the rest of these & will GM do these special editions in a vert (?),
here are a few of them that are coming out for example the XM Ed.,Synergy Ed(s). & my fav. the 45th Ann.Ed. or ZL1 Camaro(s).

I thought this is the best place for this and I wanna ask what every one thinks (plus others may wanna know, down the road),
I think going with a Special color for each edition is great but why can't there be a color choice,
I understand the limited color's, (it makes that Camaro its true L.E,), but what if anyone could choose their factory color, if they come out,
For example a 45th Ed. IBM, IOM or RJM (Standard Factory color),
Ive seen it done, on coupes, in 1-3gen Camaro & vett but not so much on verts, why ?,
(for example a Yenko/COPO Vert, 'n' Red or Yellow !)

Oh.., Is it better to do your own Edition or try to order one the way you want it, a clone is never the same value as of that of a Factory built release !
And is it still a clone if the dealer adds the option to your Camaro, if its not made that way from the factory ?, or has that changed now ?

Or trade down "" if your vert becomes limited in color
So far the only colors I've heard/seen come out lately is primary colors in verts

Here is the problem !
1st, gotta take care of IRS issues (boy related, but not his fault).
2nd, Our boy gotta quit taking our funds (draining our bank accounts)!
3rd, Hiding our penny's as we speak plus any extras we get.
4th, Going to do the body work 'n' paint on our 70' Le man's/ Clone Judge
to have/use as a down payment (sale first, not using as a down pmt/trade in).
5th, Find out exactly what we want & see if its feasible/able to happen.
We want the 45th Ann Ed./ZL1 Vert in IBM but can it be done (?) or
will it be down the road, we prefer this Camaro to be done other than a few mods &
move on w/ our other projects we have., House, Shop & our 68' !

Hopefully soon as possible Plus GM is coming out w/rear camera in 2012's

Well, as I understand it both RJM and IBM (as well as CGM) are out the window for 2012 or soon to be. This probably won't be a huge issue as they're certain to replace them with others that are at least similar in hue. I think if I were buying for 2012 the 45th Anniversary Edition/ZL1 would be hard to ignore. The Synergy and XM "special editions" just aren't very special in my estimation and are not worth the extra bucks, especially without some more unique aspects to them (ala Synergy green last year.)

Hope you straighten things out with your son, I recommend steel toed boots depending on the issues involved. I have all girls and so the nuclear option is generally frowned upon

The rear camera is a done deal, waiting for the parts to become more abundant and will be adding it to mine (unless the job ends in Sep....then I stay blind.)

Hang in there!

EDIT; A bit off topic ! Sorry

Yea... that's funny you recommend those boots I have a pair
Girls IMO are much tougher to raise than boys, specially more than one &

Ouch, hope the job goes well, I know you want that camera too,
maybe things will work out, got my fingers cross for ya &

I'll be so bummed if IBM gets removed and theirs not a great/fantastic Blue color to replace it with,
this mess w/the colors will make most of the metallic colors, go limited like the SGM/CGM color
I hope GM is listening to us & or ahead of the game & adds New Metallic colors &
in some colorful color's if they plan on removing the old ones
Plus GM needs to make them avable on some of these special Editions IMO !
GM State's these Limited Ed. and are an option, then why can't we choose the color so,
"why does every Limited Edition only get one color per theme,
IMO they wont get sold as quick as if their was multiple color choices !"
We all know the only one that will probably have multiple colors will be a ZL1

Unless GM comes out w/ a great/awesome color to replace the IBM color,
we'll probably go w/ the 45th Ann. Ed. because ZL1 (alone) has a high price tag,
unless we convert/mod a 2011 IBM in to a 45th Ed. & if we can find a new one or
a used one in great/mint shape !
