K&N filter on factory air box. Why? Helmholtz resonators. I didn't want the cai drone.

Cold Air Inductions, It gave the highest HP result (no tune) in a huge test done by Ted @ JRE. It is insulated inside the box and the tube is ceramic coated inside out eliminating heat transfer:

Black Wing SLP, why I kept the stock air box and got rid of the aircleaner muffler thing and replaced the factory cleaner with a K&N drop in replacement. And cost was only 180..

You can try dropping just a KN filter in and see if you like the result

I second the CAI inc induction system. Best testing results without tune, and like the clean look. Mine shows an open top, but because this "mates" directly with the "ram air" hood.
