Looks like the vert might have to go back to the dealer *again*

Ok, well I have already had the top replaced once before due to rub marks/holes etc. Now it appears as if the headliner is sinking. Am I crazy or does this seem like I need to take it back and have them fix it. I know that some people on this site have had their top replaced multiple times but this is just getting annoying.

If this keeps up and there is no fix, is there some kind of lemon law that comes into play?

When I look out the rearview mirror I can barely see anything (with the top up obviously).

Hopefully you can see from the pics...

You are not being picky! Those pictures clearly show a problem that I wouldn't find acceptable on a new Sonic much less a convertible that cost as much as your's did.

Time to show your butt at the dealership. They would fix it or I would be arrested one. No since in that.

Occasionally...after a little thought...lol...I can come up with a better answer. So I'd like to give this one another stab...

Your drooping headliner is likely caused by the incorrect installation of your replacement top. Dealerships are not doing these top replacements...they are subcontracting out the jobs. And since there have been so many problems and issues...a GM specialist is available to assist in the installation of any replacement tops. But the dealerships and/or their service departments don't seem to know this so the shops actually doing the installations don't know it either.

My advice if you want it fixed right would be to escalate this to GM and request the assistance of an installation specialist since your dealership has not done that for you. But if your regretting your decision and would rather lemon law it...don't say a word.

The top rear headlined has come out of the tracks that it snaps into. The dealer can fix this in 10 min or you can yourself.

For me I bring mine to the dealer. I have it documented every time I get it done. I just had my top replaced and it's night and day different. I have a little more road noise but I have no leaks, no holes and my top looks better than when I took delivery!

My dealer replaced mine at the dealership, it took over 3 weeks, but they GM techs did it and did it right!

Wish you luck in the repairs... I am also assuming you have the number to call at GM for elevated support, if not shoot me a PM.

She isn't going anywhere. Unless I have to replace the top 20 times.
