I would be very suprised if the convertible was not introduced along side the hard top.

My guess; If the concept is given the "Go ahead", the coupe will come first, followed by the 'vert, ie; Coupe comes to production Spring of '0?, followed by the 'vert in the Fall.

I'm not sure if there was any delay in the announcement of the C6 convertible, but production started a short while behind the coupe.
