Convertible on hold?

According to MotorTrend, the 2010 Camaro planned to debut mid year 2009, is on hold. GM is reported to have the convertible off the table for a year or so as GM crawls out of their financial mess and returns to profitability.

Anyone insiders know anything?

I could have sworn the Convertible already had a year's wait... If I wait any longer, I'll soooo buy a G8.

I guess getting a coupe wouldn't hurt, though.

Good god I hope not. But I'm not settling for a hard top. Convertible or nothing.

Convertible always was scheduled for the second model year, so this is nothing new.

Neither the coupe or convertible are on hold or delayed in any way.

I knew the convertible was scheduled about a year after the coupe all along, but it was the first time I saw it written like this.

Good. I'm glad I can still consider the convertible in the future.
