ZL 1 interior light strip

My Zl 1 plastic strip that begins on one door, continues across the dash, and ends on the other door, does not have the blue light that illuminates when the head lights are on, as my 2010 2SS RS had. Was it deleted in 2012?

Did you buy your 2010 used? I have a 2010 SS/RS and the dash doesn't have a light, but I added one myself. As far as I know they have never had the dash portion. There are a lot of DIY on this forum that shows you how to add the dash ABM lighting your referring to.

2010 Camaro's are GM's best idea yet!!!!

PNYSLAR, Thanks for the come back. I purchased my bran new 2010 2SS RS in November 2009 from the my dealership in Morehead City, NC. It has the blue band of light in the plastic molding as I described. The intensity varies with the dash lights as they are increased or decreased.

Thanks Joes407. I couldn't remember about the dash strip, but I knew the doors had it. Wonder why they deleted it on the 2012 ZL1 and I guess all 2012?

You are correct but, my doors did have them. The GM customer satisfaction guy tells me that my ZL 1 should have them also.

Don't they have a ring around the 2 gauges that light up?
