ZL1 Supercharger Snout Coupler Rattle

This is a very active topic on many forums and I felt this forum needed to have an active and observant following in order to insure owners keep the subject on the front burner. While the following picture shows the couple is now a "solid" piece, there are plenty of ZL1 owners who are having the coupler mar and deform the snout. Some have said the snout will be replaced by GM if it rattles above or at 1200 rpms. The wear on this snout was at just a few thousand miles. No complaints on mine yet, but worth watching

Here is a link to a Caddie CTS-V forum discussing issue. If anyone hears of GM confirming the ZL1 is "fixed" or "getting fixed under warranty" lets share! I don't know if its really fixed or not, but maybe someone from GM could verify status of the coupler in ZL1's.
GM found a fix for the supercharger rattle!
Thanks

I've read alot about this rattle from Gm engineers.... it appears they do scar the snout but not cause breakdown throughout warranty. I have also seen pics of the replacement solid couplers that ended up actually cracking and splitting! So, rules of unintended consequences could come into play if you replace it with solid.
