Spring Spacers Left In!!!...

Yesterday, I found that the dealership forgot to remove the spacers in the springs used for transporting the ZL1.

I've got 400 miles on my car, will I need new springs now cuz of their screw up?

Doubt the springs would suffer but I sure would be wondering about the Mag Ride Components!! Unless the spacers were exactly evenly spaced it created a side load on the piston in the front struts, the rears would be unaffected as the shocks and springs are separate....

I had the same problem and took it to them this morning. They did a front and back alignment with no problems and re wrote my warranty for all of the front end. Plus I got 5 yr tire & rim insurance for free. I am not saying what you should do but I made a very big deal of this & it worked out for me.
