Kenne Bell supercharger upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my ZL1 engine to a Kenne Belle 2.8 supercharger. Wondering if anyone on the site has done this to their zl1? Would like your opinions.

If you do it then keep us posted. I think the main thing would be making sure you have a safe tune and staying within safe boost levels. On a bone stock engine that doesn't have forged internals, I personally would not feel comfortable going over 10 psi of boost if even that much. Especially on a high compression engine with a positive displacement blower. Don't go too much over 650 rwhp. Some say the ZL1 can handle around 700 to the wheels. I would not push it that far. If you do, then just be careful with it. But before you upgrade to the KB 2.8, I would say pulley the stock blower down and see how you like it and see what it can do.

Good advice Chapel.
A pulley could be just what he needs, and a hell of a lot cheaper than swapping out the blower.
