Just speaking from driving experience with both

Speaking of the SS -- I'll never forget, I had a GM fleet car in 1996 or so, Black Impala SS. Had some fun with it on Gratiot Avenue one night, was taking it back to the Tech Center late that night, ran up against a new SHO Tarus on the express way, on top end, the big-ole SS couldn't keep up with that Yamaha powered FWD demon, I was pretty bummed.
