WANTED: Aftermarket X-Pipe for 2010 SS

Hey guys,

I'm searching for anyone that has a set of aftermarket x-pipes like the ones that come with the Corsa cat-back kit. if you got american racing headers and corsa cat-back exhaust, then you probably held on to the corsa x-pipe to sell, and that's what i am searching for! Magnaflow, SLP, mbrp, etc. will do fine as long as it's 2.5" not 3".

PM me if you have one to sell!!!

Order a Maganflow X-pipe model 10791 new, that is what I did and it worked great. Took me about 1..25 hour total to install in my shop on a hoist with keeping an eye on my 3 & 5 year old boys.

SIM 2SS RS LS3 , M6, blk leather, 20" Polished, black Hockey and Hood Stripes Magnaflow X-pipe and comp axle back, waiting for Vararam CAI, and prices for headers to drop

You should only have to cut the H- piece out and put the X-piece in using exhaust clamps.

I saw a picture of this on camaro5 forum.

Correct, you place the X-pipe up against your existing H pipe area, tape off the end points, then measure ~9" between both sides and both ends in alignment with one another and cut. You take the rubber grommets off the back half of your exhaust to allow it to slide back enough (or you can completely remove, your choice). Then you take off the two factory exhaust connector clamps where the CAT back attaches. Drop them down to slid into the xpipe (don't forget to slide claps on first if you use them) keeping it loose then install back in reverse order. You will then have to cut a metal "tie tab" between the section you slid back since the X-pipe is just a tad wider. Slide each side into the x-pipe (don't forget clamps) and then align all your tubes for best fit and exhaust tip location. Clamp everything down tight and your done.

Great point! I overlooked that in your signature line somehow! In that case the only two options I know of are a full catback or a mid-pipe swap with the x-pipe installed. You could possibly still use the magaflow x-pipe and have your local shop section it in with new 2.5" SS tubes to replace that huge lung.
