ok have a problem

i got axle back/shortie headers cai intake and aftermarket mass sensor getting a trouble code for both of my heaters on my o2s on the bank1 senser one and bank2 sensor 1 so p0053 and p0030 i think need to check they turn on right whern the car is started already check the connectors and on tight and no leaks in the exaust at all any idea or is it time to replace the o2s maybe they got fouled out from the headers

what engine do you have? V6 or V8?

put your stock MAF sensor back in the car, reset the ECM by doing fuse pull or battery disconnect, and see if that solves your problem. it's a Jet sensor, isn't it? those things are as useless as a throttle body spacer, but can really screw up your stock tune if you've added any other type of performance part like your CAI and exhaust.

both of those codes are for the first O2 sensor on the driver side. check the connections on that sensor.

well i have the code for both one for the left one for the right just forgot the exact code so guess wrong yeah gonna switch back the the stock mass and yeah have cat back and shortie headers but stock cat pipes and connecters on the o2s are on tight but they only pop after a short drive well the p0030 pop the second i start the car

yeah, dump the aftermarket MAF sensor...

I wish places would stop selling that crap

don't need it... stock MAF is all you need!!! they're good for 550+ hp... and if you're pushing more than that, then you're not going to do a MAF tune anyway - you'd do a speed density tune with no MAF sensor at all...

the aftermarkets fool the ecm into thinking it's running leaner than it really is.. and throws off the tune/fueling...

get rid of it and put the stock MAF sensor back on...
