Stabilitrac needs service?

My 2010 2SS does not get driven much. The other day I went to move it in the driveway and a message pops up saying the stabilitrac needs service. Along with that, 3 lights illuminate on the dashboard associated with it. The engine also runs rough as if in limp mode. Has anyone experienced this? Can a weak battery with low voltage cause this? I have the factory battery.

The battery can be the culprit. I had a similar experience about a year ago. My SS sits all winter without a battery tender and shortly after hibernation last spring I had this happen. The problem took care of itself once the car got driven and the battery had a chance to charge. Hasn't returned since.

stabiltract

the wrong size tires can cause the light to be on if there is a significant difference in size. I guess even extremely low tire pressure with the corresponding tire pressure light.

Angry UPDATE...

The problem certainly was not what I expected. A rodent took up housekeeping under the engine cover. Seems he had a taste for wires. One for the #2 cylinder and one for the brake (stabilitrac) system. It could have been worse, but still cost me $200 for diagnostics and repair. Out came the mouse traps.

I had to get gas today before my inspection. The guy put in 92 octane not 93 but
they call the 92 super don't get it. Just to let you guys know I have a CAI AND I DONT have the top cover on. So I go for the car inspection and it passes I was happy. The issue I had was when I pulled in to my Storage unit I seen the stability light with the little wrench in the DIC for a second and then it went away. I shut the car off and started it back up and no light. I let the car sit for a half hour went back stared it up and still no light. Could this just be a fluke. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. also i got no check engine light or reduess power light. i am thinking i might have to do a fuse pull

I get this about twice a year for no reason at all. Problem always will go away at next engine start cycle.........unless there really is a problem.

Related note: Every time this happens I have to reset the date on the radio...?

I know what you mean .... I thought I saw my HUD blink, but then nothing ... so then I watched and watched and finally I saw it do it again. Now it has been months with nothing. I wouldn't be worried but the HUD was already replaced once
