Cold air intake issue w/exhaust

Installed a set of Magnaflow high performance exhaust and a K&N cold air intake on my 2012 SS Camaro. Disconnected neg.side of battery for hour.Computer is not completely recognizing the change. Any ideas?

Not even sure I know what this means.... How could you know what the ECU is/isn't doing unless you are getting in there with tuning software?

The ECU can only adapt the AF ratio so much... If you have done long tubes you are in serious need of a tune. If you have only done mufflers then you shouldn't expect much more than 1 or 2hp from the exhaust side of things. And on the intake side of things, it is not a set amount of HP you may see. It will take the ECU some time to adjust the STFT and LTFT tables...

What are you expecting in the way of it "recognizing the change"?

Neither of the parts you installed require tuning for the car to run and drive.
In order to take advantage of them you should have a good tune on the car to take advantage of the mods in the present and the future.
