Don't expect much on this until they hit the streets or right before hand when the tuners get their hands on them

Yeah there's not much info around yet.
Friend of mine is in the tuning biz, I'll have to prod him for some info.

On a side note, when is OBDIII gonna show up?

off topic?

How hard is it for a newb to get into tuning using EFI Live or other tuning software. I really want to try, but not screw up something bad.

Werd.
HPTuners is the best solution out there, IMO.
Their forum is VERY much worth checking out, some good info there.

I will ask HPT about the tuning solutions for upcoming GM PCMs. As in the 5th gen. at PRI this week.

HPTuners should be just about ready to tune LS3s.
Since LS3 tuning is similar to LS2 tuning, there shouldn't be much of a delay after LS3-powered vehicles start hitting the streets.

I'm pretty sure the LS3 will show up in the 2008 Corvette beginning in July 2007, so we'll have plenty of lead time for when it shows up in the 2009 Camaro.

Going forward from that, I think LS8 & LS9 tuning shold be similar to LS3s, so again, not much delay after the cars hit the streets.
