L99 camaro - what do you use

So what do you guys/gals use @ the drag strip...

Drive - everything on...tc off...competive mode...everything off

Sport- (same above)

Manual- (same above)

...if you do anything besides the competive mode what RPM are you trying to launch @?
or share any other technique

This question is more toward to stock to slighlty modified L99.

The first time I went with my camaro I was disspointed(14.22), only had three chances to actually race. I knew elvation and the humidity would play a part but how much? I came across the DA CALCULATOR and put my numbers in and came with 13.64.
So im seeing a lot of stock L99 saying low 13s.
Which time do I go by, the 14.2/13.6?
help out a little if yall can and i will be practicing more which i know helps.

Sport Mode with TC off. Sport Mode gives the fastest/firmest shifts at the same RPM every time.... Stock or modified.

A stock L99 will run high 12s on a good day. Several users have posted timeslips here and on TOS.

Tips:
Don't run with a full tank, You can save >100lbs just running 1/8 tank.
Empty washer bottle will drop you another 8lbs.
Take all the junk form the trunk (inflater, etc)
Run your tire pressure a bit low, about 30lbs. You'll hook up better.

Sport Mode (no paddle shifting) drag radials at 24psi front tires at 50 psi, do a good burnout stage deep and hold gas and break around 2500 rpms let her fly!
Oh and TC off.

When I was stock I used to leave at 1500-2000 depending on ambient.... My car has always been strong out of the hole...

Now I leave at idle to keep from blowing thru the tires (still doesn't work half the time ) cuz I have that angry ***** Maggie ridin' shotgun!

I ran mine last year. 2010 L99. Only mods are K&N CAI, And Diablosport Predator tune.
Sport mode, Competitive mode, Track not very clean, 90 degrees and humid, elevation around 800'.
Best time was 13.56 @ 105.63.

I think I could do better.

You need a good dyno tune instead of a canned tune. And a lot of practice.
