Thumbs up The LS3 runs STRONG!!!

...well when you put in the right car it does, anyway.

My Corvette is bone stock, as it came from the factory.

Took advantage of some nice weather this weekend....

12.17 @ 117.5

...and that's on run-flat street tires!

Not too shabby for a car that's still 100% stock.

Your 60' time is awesome, for a bone stock car!! Tim, that's pretty sweet man. Add one thing, and you may have yourself an 11 second street car!!

That's the plan!
First step is a cold air kit and a tune, and that will put me solidly in the 11s.

Going back to a different track tomorrow night to race in some good air again.
And I will be on drag radials!

Though with a stock converter and stock tune, I'm not sure how much better than 1.88 my 60-foot can get lol.
We'll see! I will report back!

I was impressed when you first posted it on FB, I know a few guys out of state who have done 12.2's but it's all the more impressive when a guy I know runs even better than that.

I think you can pick up with the drag radials.

Tim, what DR are you planning on running?!

If they are Mickey Thompson's, I'd start out around 15 lbs of air pressure. Make sure you get a good burn out with them, but don't overcook them. Another trick is to back into the water box; don't drive through it. Your front tires will pick up water. Also, a big mistake made by a LOT of people; don't do a dry hop after you heat them up. That dissipates heat.

I agree with PSJ, with DR, you should be able to pick up a tenth or two. Especially if it's a cool night. Good luck man!!

Yes, Mickey Thompson DRs.
And I know to back into the waterbox, I've been drag racing for over 15 years.

Got back to the track last night. Weather was great for racing again!
DA was around -700.

Here's my result:

12.05 @ 118.1

Man, the 11s are SO CLOSE!!!

I'm not giving up until I get an 11-second pass or until winter hits.
