2010 Camaro SS on the dyno at Livernois Motorsports

This was posted to www.MotownMuscle.com today

----------------

Today we had a chance to dyno a 2010 Camaro SS. This car had a 6-speed manual transmission and around 1,000 miles. Below is the video and the dyno results.

I think that might be the same one that Chris just had at his shop. He turned his back in.

426 is base motor HP, dyno results show horsepower to the rear wheels.

Well those numbers should be pretty close. That is 15% loss to the wheels. Hey, I'm happy. My 95 fbody had 275 at the motor. That's like 230 to the wheels. So we are talking about 140 more horse and I remember feeling like my car was fast back in the day....Lol.

Looks like GM's not underrating the new engines like they did with the LS1 cars.

Makes sense in today's marketing world.

Divide the HP # by .85 and it is right on top of the factory rating.

They will get better #'s after about 5k miles.

I think these results are GREAT. If you want more, all it will take is a little bit of $'s!!!
