My Camaro is taking my calls...

...started happening yesterday. Car is completely off (no key in the ignition). Everytime somebody calls me the call goes thru the Virtual Advisor in my Camaro while I'm in the house.

Is this a GM problem or a Verizon problem?

That's how it starts, first it takes you call then it will steal your women. Beware my friend it is taking over!

LOL, guys! I've been wondering for days why I get no phone calls and only voicemail. I'm sure it's a proximity thing (bluetooth). Time to call the dealer. I need a PDIM update anyway - it's been 2 years...

turn the bluetooth connectivity off on your phone when you get out of the car to make sure you at least get your calls, but ya definately sounds like a dealer visit

There is a program update for that I beleive, been a while since I looked.... Let me check..................

Okay, lots of bulletins, depends on what phone you have. I would have the dealer check to see if there are any computer updates for your VCIM. If not. Unpair and delete your phone from the car. Then re-pair the phone to car and see if it helps. If it is an I-phone GM and Apple are having some issues with software and a fix is being developed but not out yet.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, guys. I noticed that if I walk out of range (~50 feet), it disconnects/unpairs. I talked to my service tech and he's going to fix that, the radio "date" update, as well as the PDIM update on Friday.

That happens to my boyfriend ALL the time in his Kia. He never gets his calls because theyre always going to the car. I'll have to tell him to check with his service guy about any updates.
I wish my Camaro had bluetooth. My life would be so much easier. I'm okay with missing calls, lol, the only calls I get are my staff calling about work. I can live with missing those.
