Question on wiring for amp.

Quick question for the people who installed their own amps. From where did everyone run their 12v remote wire from?

I ran mine from the power outlet inside the center console, very easy to get up and then the back seat pops right out, can run wire under the carpet between center console and the back seat area.. it is 12v and only on with the key.

Also if you are tapping into their existing wiring, go before their amp, not at the speakers or after their amp, you will have loss of power, they have a crossover built into thier amp to reduce the power.. Learned from expeirence.

Ther is a remote turn on wire in the back left side of the trunk. right where the boston amp plugs in. no need to run a wire from the front. I have 3 amps in my car all using the same remote turn on wire. Goes on and off with the radio.Use a tester to find the wire.
