I wanted to let anyone interested in doing this I just ordered the Nav Add on to my My Link Radio.

I am to get it prob in a day or so then the install will be in 2 to 4 days from then I think.

I wanted to have Nav but not to the point of pulling whole radio and blowing big bucks altho this is not cheap by any means but what the hell....

I will let you all know how its done whats involved and how it is.....

Just an update I got my parts today from AutoSpa and I have an install date of the 2nd I will take pictures of kit and install as I go looks pretty simple tho.

The only thing is there is an external speaker that needs to be hidden as the system will not play through the Audio system but I tested the speaker and its LOUD and clear lol so I'm going to hide it under the dash I'm sure its way loud enough to hear it

Kit is very well thought out and instructions are clear as a bell !!!

So far so good !!!

OK guys & gals don't flame me but I love my ONSTAR turn by turn. Am I missing something by staying with them or is yours the way to go?

You really like OnStar? I only used mine a couple of times, but I hated the fact that if you went off route, you had to get back on route before you could proceed. I have had numerous times with my Garmin that I went off route, it would guide me back to the route, not just leave it up to me. I also hated to have to call someone to get my route started. For OnStar's $20 a month, you can have a very good GPS in 6 months with no further cost. Back when they started, the price was reasonable (I guess), GPS's cost a lot back then, but OnStar has made no change to their price structure that I have seen.
