What USB sticks are you using?

I just installed the PDIM and want to know what USB sticks are you using?
I know about the 2500 song limit.
Have you found any sticks that don't work with your Camaro?
I have a pretty large......music collection and I'd like to make one bulk purchase of usb sticks.

Come on, speak up!

I have three of the 8 gig PNY "attache" thumb drives. Each loaded with different type of music so I do not have to scan to the stuff I want to hear. I did that all on one drive at first and spent more time scanning to what I wanted. I have not found any that will not work unless they have the U 3 security program on them new, then I just format them first and everything is fine. Your going to enjoy this feature.
BTW, I think I got them at Sams Wholesale Club in a three pack for about 30.00.

I just got a 32 Gig PNY small metal one from Best Buy for $24.95. It is less than an inch long and it has a little chain on it so you can easily pull it back out. I put over 80 CDs worth of MP3s on it and only used about 4 Gigs. It plays perfectly and lists all of my music with my My-Link radio. I really like it.

I've used several different kinds.what works best for me was a multi USB adapter. What im trying to figure out now is how to get pics on the head unit and video as well. I haven't really messed with it to much.

I use the SanDisk 32gb Cruzer. On sale at Best Buy last week for $24.

It has my entire collection on it.

Newbie to all this too

Yes I'd like to know more about about storing music in this way. Since now I have no CD player in my Camaro anymore using this method to play and store music would be fun. Already have a lap top. So what size is the best. How many song can one store on these?

There is a 2500 song limit that the PDIM can properly index. With that in mind, the size needed would depend on what quality you rip at and how much music you really need available in your car. I am using a 32GB as earlier stated and rip at a very high rate (Lossless) and still am able a serious portion of my collection on it leaving room for additions as they come....
