finally it's fixed/repaired!!!

Hi you all,

In a previous thread "How to activate my radio" I finally picked up my newly bought Camaro and it now appears everything is working fine! I now get Navigation, Weather. Traffic, etc without much hassle except for driving around to refresh my XM signal and allowing my radio to repopulate the info.

At first they thought the antenna went bad so after the Cadillac dealership did some tech work they thought and installed a new signal spliter. OK that didn't work so for another week GM approved to install a whole new radio/My Link and that appears to have done the trick.

Anyway problem now solved and I finally have some closure on this subject. I can now move on and enjoy my Camaro with all it's bells and whistles

Thank you....I'm glad it repaired too. Now all I need to is kick myself in the rear for scraping my lower front flexible spoiler on the concrete parking stop What a dummy I am. CRAP

83Hokie,

Yeah the second part is a bummer I still have to get a better look but I beleive it's not visible unless you run you hand under neath near the small fllexible air dam. It's just a bummer my brother was in the car and that made all the difference when I parked the car!!!! I'm 150lbs on the driver side and my brother on the passenger side is 190lbs.

Anyway looks like I made some sort of a trade yesterday. Getting my radio working properly as opposed to not scratching up the lower lip of the bumper.

Thanks,

You're welcome Mailclerk! Sorry to here about your bumper. Are you planning to have this repaired by your dealership?
