Dome/Map Light

Anyone change theres yet to an LED bulb?? Is it hard to swap out??

I got a red one from one of our venders here, took all pf about 30 sec to change. Tip: wait for the light to shut off before removing old bulb! Don't ask why I know that.

I changed mine too, also changed the trunk to a bright LED. Nice white bright light in the
trunk.

yeah, mine came in pack of two, one for dome other for trunk.. agree with waiting after they shut off!! got mine from AAC

A word of caution besides waiting on the bulb to cool before removal...

When you pry the lens out be careful and patient. Use a plastic removal tool or use something to protect the face of bezel around the lens. It is a very tight fit and takes more pressure than you would think to snap it out... IIRC, you need to pry at the back of the lens to get it started and not the sides. The tabs are at the front and back...

yea i bet it gets hot lol

Hypurone, i did have it off once before but it was a challenge, i think i used a small pick or screwdriver,

Hotwheels what color did u go with?

I got green 2 to a pack--on ebay $5-6 bucks total, bought em a couple years ago and havent needed the 2nd one yet.........A simple pry with a thin screwdriver and the lens is off.

I got mine off Ebay for like $5 shipped. It came in a pack of two. I got the red colored LED. It came out really nice.
