I did not purchase the RS package...

But I would like to see if I can get the HID headlights and the separate DRL's?

From the Chevrolet site.
High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps, each ringed with an LED halo

Separate Daytime Running Lamps

And what (if anything) would I have to do other than replacing things (bulbs)?

Its a whole change of headlights. You can get HIDs standard in your current halogen housings. But if you want the RS look, you'll need the housings as well. The latter will cost between $500-$1000 alone.

For example. Here is a guy selling the RS housings, used, with a broken clip, for $850:

I can't believe you didn't buy the RS package and now you want the HID lights.

I bought the car off the lot, I did not have the opportunity to get the RS without ordering the car, and I paid just barely over invoice for this one as they wanted to get it out of there. Besides, most of it I did not want anyway, I was just looking to redo the headlights if possible.

IMO..
you'll ether have to buy them used.. witch will b hard, 14's haven't been out very long or
you'll need to buy them new, witch is not going to be cheap, as they are not the same as
the rest of the older camaro's, these have different housings/design/style I like them.. they look killer

Please update us on what you do or come up with as this could help other members that come across this on their 14's &

My cousin has a 2011 1lt and bought some used RS headlights but he couldn't get them to work right for some reason. The factory package deal is the best way to go.
