airbag error?

hi guys, hopefully you can help me. lately i have been seeing this error pop up telling me to check the airbag. there has never been an accident so i dont know why it shows up. its only there every now and then not everyday so idk what is causing it. has anybody had this problem and can help?

Its probably nothing, but I would take it to the dealer to make sure.

I had the same problem in my G5.
The connector shorted out, no biggy.
They also told me a common problem is that the connector that connects to the front seat has almost no slack..so if you move the seat a lot it can wiggle loose.
The dealer can fix it quickly

so could i just go under the seat and plug it back in if thats the problem or do i have to take it to the dealer?

I recommend taking it to the dealer. That might not be the problem.
And they said that about the G5, I dunno how the setup is in the Camaro. Just sharing my experience with the matter.

Just about to post this issue but found your post. It also happened to me this morning. It would go off and on again and again. I let it sit for a couple hours and when I drove it again it was off and did'nt come on anymore. I'm going to take it to the dealer in the morning, so we will see what the deal is.

i had the same issue along with a stabli trac issue to both the dealer said it was just a software issue
