AC belt info
Wanted to pass on some information reguarding the AC belt on the LS3. If you do your own maintenance, this will interest you. I'm not sure if this applies to the L99 or the V6. I have not had the chance to look under the hood at one. The belt is a stretch fit belt. It does not use a tensioner. A special tool is required to install this belt on this application without damageing the belt. Take a look at the above link. The part number for the tool is 91030. I found it at Car Quest for about $12 if I remimber correctly. I tried to find it at NAPA and they had no idea what I was talking about.
