Found a deal on 4-pack gauge cluster.....

I have a 1SS model. I found a basically brand new 4 pack gauge cluster I couldn't pass up. I've done the research here, looks like it should be plug and play. Anybody ever done this before? Thanks for any tips.

Yes I have done this, and learned a bit in the process. There are two gauge packs for the SS, one for the M6 and a different one for the A6, so make sure you're getting the right one for your car.

unless it's from the 2LT or 2SS cluster...then it ain't a deal.... you won't get the wiring harness.

It has to be the ACCESSORY cluster...not just a cluster for a 2ss...someone was selling them on ebay - the bad news is, you can't use them unless you have a car that already has them.

I made sure it was from a 2SS M6. Thanks.

Oh crap! That's very bad news bro......I assumed since I have the 1SS version, it would just plug and play. It had a wiring in the back. Now I have to order the wiring harness? It doesn't look that expensive. Help me oh Camaro God!

The harness is not available seperately. The 2LT/2SS guage pack is useless for a 1LT/1SS...

Figures, just my luck Scotty! I'm going to try it anyway, the part is on it's way. Anybody want some extra gauges?

Man, I gotta figure something out WITHOUT ordering the right gauges!
