Question Coolant question

While doing some research on coolant for my truck I ran accross some discussions concerning DexCool GM coolant and issues with sludge formation. DexCool is a special formulation and as I understand it, can not be mixed with "regular" coolant. It is possible that issues with sludge build-up is a result of mixing coolant types. Have any of you heard of this and know of any problems that may affect our Camaros?

yes, it can & will cause sludge buildup in the coolant passages if you mix regular coolant with dexcool.

the only liquid that should be mixed with your coolant is water!

i wouldn't even try those coolant additives like royal purple "purple ice" or redline "water wetter" even though they say they are compatible.
