Fluids

I just spent $35.08 for 1 qrt. of the rear end fluid plus an additional $12.54 for the additive whatever that is and $7.68 per qrt. of trans fluid. What is this stuff made of and were can I get an equivalent or better fluid at a better price?

Mobil 1 diff fluid is about $10 per qt. and does not require the additive

you'll need 2 quarts, because the diff hold just over 1 qt.

here's what it looks like

the LS stands for limited slip, meaning it is formulated specifically for limited-slips, which is why the friction modifier additive is not required.
