Here's a generally dumb question for you

What would you do about a worm clamp that won't stay tight? I have one on the hose that couples my old CAI to the throttlebody that keeps loosening to the point the tube pops out. Would a new worm clamp fix this or should I try using threadlocker? Thx.

Swap the clamp. Once it starts to slip, it's time for a new one.

Yes, clamps are cheap. Be careful not to over-tighten it.

New "Mil Spec" stainless clamp will fix that.

This. Not all clamps are created equal. There is a German brand (I can't remember the name right now) that you simply can't over-tighten by hand with a nut driver or screwdriver. They are bulletproof...

If you can find one, make the switch to T-Bolt clamps.

They'll never strip or slip. (unless you're doing something crazy when you tighten it.)

They're the clamps you'd use if you had a turbo setup on the car. They're awesome clamps and pretty inexpensive.
