Race Ramps?

Anybody own a set of Race Ramps? With my car lowered, could i get away with the 40" ramps or should i step it up to the 54" ramps? Also, anybody know of a supplier to get them fairly cheap?

I don't think you'll be getting race ramps for cheap. I'd like to get me some myself. But it's on my wish list only at the moment. You can get some for a tad over 100 bucks, but some are closer to 300 or so depending on your "options".

Wonder if their "corvette" style ramps would work??

Summit Racing carries them. $100 to $300 depending on type.

I have race ramps because my car is lowered also. The 40s wont work for you. They have a way for figuring out which ones will work for you. You take a yard stick and from the front slide it till it hits the front tires. Then pick up the yard stick until it hits the underneath of the Camaro and measure how high the end of the yard stick is from the ground. Each of their models has a recommendation of what that height should be. I went with the 67"s so both my cars worked ,but 54s might work for you also. They you have to decide if you want it to be a single piece or two piece model.

My pleasure ! Let me know if I can help anymore. And don't worry that they are made of foam. Kind of freaked me out ,but they really rock. Very light and easy to move around and store. Plus strong enough for our cars.

Yeah, they are pretty perfect. They also had a strong smell for the first few days.

You can get Rhino Ramps (8000lb version which is way overkill but peace of mind) at Walmart or Amazon for less than 50.00. My car is lowered and all I need is a 2x4 leading up to the ramp to avoid contact on the front only. They have non-skid grip feet at the leading edge and are very stout. Just a thought...

Then take the savings and get more mods!

I had trouble with the rhino ramps. My car loved to push them instead on rolling on them ,but that could have been from my garage floor epoxy.
