DRL Bulb

How do u get the bulb out of the socket, i cant seem to get it, ive pushed and pulled and nothing, wut am i doing wrong?? thanks guys

I presume you mean the RS ones in the fog light area?

it's a twist. 90 as I recall when I put the plasma LEDS in there, it was from side to bottom, no push in, just a twist, but it is tight..

Yup, twist counter-clockwise then pull....

Yes i have a 2012 1SS/RS and i wanna put an LED bulb in there, but everytime i try to pull out the bulb if feels like im gonna break it lol, does just the bulb come out? or the plastic piece or housing beneath it as well? thanks

You can remove just the bulb. You HAVE to twist it about 90 degrees counter-clockwise FIRST before attempting to remove it. It is a very tight fit for both the twisting and removal part....

it's not hard, you just seems a bit timid to do it.


I did my swap in the dark laying in my driveway with my hand up under the car, no light, no view of what I was turning, just feel and instinct..

turn it until it stops turning and pull, if it doesn't come you haven't turned it enough, need some elbow grease and a little strength in your hands..

ain't hard son, probably one of the easier things to change on this car.

ok i will give it another try, does anyone know which led bulbs i need to order?? i heard i may have 2 types, i have a 2012 ss, and looking to get that plug and play harness to connect the DRLs with the headlights,

I appreciate it but im in NY
