Requires the help of locksmith for the door lock problem

I have my Chevrolet camaro 2005 and hen I push the button to lock my doors when I get out of the car, it won't push the lever back to lock it and this just happened today and I can't seem to find the problem I checked fuses and such and it's still not working. If anybody familiar with this issue plzz help me from here.........

There is no 2005 Camaro. The Camaro was produced from 1967 through 2002 when production ceased until the 5th Generation began production in 2009 as a 2010 some clarification as to the actual year model you have would help.

But my first thought is...have you replaced the battery in the remote?
