Tire pressure was set by dealer at 45psi 2013 RS Camaro

When I picked up my 2013 Camaro the dealer had all the tires set at a psi of 45.
Seems kinda hi?
Maybe the recommended 36psi Standard is only for stock "18 tires?
What should I set the pressure on the tires?

45 psi is definitely not correct. If your car was built as an RS (as indicated) then 36 psi is the correct recommendation for the 20" RS wheels/tires that came on it. My LT came with 19" wheels/tires so the door sticker reads 35 psi but I upgraded to to the RS wheels so I keep the tires at the recommended 36 psi.

I run mine a little over 40PSI for winter storage, but 45PSI for driving????

WAY too high. 36 is correct. 45 will screw up your handling and ride like it's got rocks for suspension.

Rob Bulk,

Your dealership mess up big time! That high of a tire pressure will make you feel your riding on rocks.

I keep mine set at 37 PSI myself and check monthly.
