Hurst 5380430, 5380432 Harddrive Stick Kit Fit Issues

I have just installed the Hardrive Kit into my 2014 Camaro RS/SS. The instructions state that there is a tight fit between the Hurst Plate and the center console trim. Every time I push the console trim plate into position by engaging the mounting tabs abo If so, what was the solution?ut five minutes later the tabs pop up exposing a gap. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I have the same shifter and have no problem.I would check to see if the front of the gauge pod is pushed all the way forward and and down. Also that there is not any wires I between the sifter mount and the shifter plate. Also check the wiring harness is not bound up and pushing up the gauge pod.Make sure the white plate with the 4 screws is screwed all the way down.I have taken mine in and out a couple of times and had no issue so something is out of wack.Keep us posted on what you find.
