Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Pack is a Big Toy for Big Boys

Chevrolet has announced that production will begin in 2013 on the Hot Wheels edition Camaro. Available exclusively in Kinetic Blue paint, the Hot Wheels features red pin-striping on the rims and grille of the car.

The design was a collaborative effort between Hot Wheels and Chevrolet. This is an options package just like the Transformers Edition Camaro, which was also only available in one color. Priced at $6,995, this option pack, is available on 2SS trim and 2LT trim vehicles in either coupe or convertible.

Beneath the Hot Wheels badge up-front, is the grille from the ZL1 and this matches the ZL1 spoiler out bac. Running down the middle of the car is a matte-black racing stripe.Setting off the look are 21 inch rims, and fenders with Hot Wheels badging.

Inside the car are black leather seats, embroidered with the Hot Wheels logo and black piping. The dash comes standard with Chevyís MyLink infotainment system, featuring a 7 inch touchscreen. Like the Transformers Camaro, GM will build as many as are ordered.

To each his own but if I spent $7k and the word "charger" wasn't involved I'd might blow up.
