I'm having a dilemma...

Ok, as you probably know, I'm selling my Camaro.
Problem is, I dunno what to get to replace it.

All along I've been kinda planning on getting a Sunset Orange Metallic 2001 or 2002 Camaro SS.

However, that would be my FIFTH 4th Gen Camaro.
I've pretty much driven a 4th Gen Camaro since 1994.
I mean, I like em and all, but after 12 years of the same car, I'm kinda wanting a change, ya know?

So I've been thinking about getting a GTO instead.
Nice cars. **** nice cars.

Now here's another issue: I'm President of a rather large F-Body club.
Is it insane for the President of an F-Body club to not have an F-Body?

Just looking for opinions!

Taking the F body club into consideration, maybe a nice 35th anniv SS camaro?

A personal favorite is the 30th Anniv SS Convertible or a nice LT4 coupe

Not really insane.

I own a 04 Barbados Blue, six speed GTO. It's a nice car. Parts are more expensive and the skinny tires makes it more challenging to launch.

The ride quality is extremely comfortable. It's a nice move from a F-body.
I believe the admin/owner of the one of the GTO forums no longer has his car. My only complaint is the GTO didn't hold it's value and gets little respect despite it's overall packaging.

My friend has a 30th ANNIV Camaro for sale. I would prefer his 30th ANNIV Trans Am. If I thought the wife wouldn't freak out I'd buy the Camaro. White with orange stripes, 18K miles, always garaged. I might quietly start making payments and leave it at my friends house.

Thats a tuff call. It depends on what you plan on doing to the gto. The gto has a nice ride and good interior room. They are great on the street and auto x. For the drag strip I'd pick an f-body any day. I'm sure there would be some people who would say how can he be the pres when he sold his f-body. you could always keep your car until the 5th gen comes out.

Well, the Camaro is the daily driver right now other than in the winter I drive my Grand Am.

If I get another Camaro, I'll keep the Grand Am for winter.
If I get a GTO, the Grand Am would be sold too and the GTO would be driven year-round.

...decisions, decisions....

I should just flip a frickin coin.

Keep the Camaro and the Grand Am and then trade both of them in on a 2009 Camaro.
