Pinewood Derby Camaro

My son is in cub scouts and he wanted a 5th Gen Camaro for his pinewood derby car. Well, I have almost no woodworking skills, but here are the pictures of the finished product. We were real rushed to get it done so I had to skip some of the details that would have made it look cleaner (like sanding between coats of paint) but I think it turned out pretty good.

For those interested, the idea to make it wider came from this web site.

Looks great! I loved working on Pinewood Derby cars with my dad, I still have both cars.

It looks great. I thought I was cool when I put a lego guy in the driver seat. Your son is way cooler than I was

Looks like the Pinewood Derby has come a long way. We raced open wheel cars as Cub Scouts back in the '60's. What kind of rules are in place these days?
