Does anyone insure with Progressive?

Who here insures with Progressive or HAS insured with Progressive? Any issues?

The reason I ask is that my auto policy with USAA was just renewed and it went up to $189/mo ($1135 for 6 mos) because of ONE missed payment in December. (It was paid in January and everything is current). 8 YEARS of history and they screw me for one late payment.

ANYWAY...

I quoted with Progressive a BETTER policy and it's $107/mo, or $570 for 6 months. WAY WAY WAY cheaper and better coverage. So now I'm trying to figure out if this is the way I want to go. What do ya'll think?

I used to have them (for 3 or 4 years)...had no problems. I filed 1 claim with them when my jeep got broken into...had no issues what-so-ever.

I use Progressive, has since I got my license, and haven't had any issues. Not even an increase when I missed a payment.

I have Progressive also, no claims so far but they are much cheaper than Amica that I had before. 70 bux a month cheaper to be exact.

Progressive cheaper? I may have to check that out because I've been with USAA for over 8 years and haven't checked with any other insurance company. Plus, I called USAA today and was quoted a $700 increase (per six month policy) for my son to be insured. He turns 16 next year and was curious...he's gonna need a JOB!

I've had em for about 3 or 4 years now and have no complaints. I was involved in a hit and run a year ago with only liability and they paid for all the damages and a rental for 2 weeks

Cheaper, but never had to file a claim.

I think it is all circumstances...I would expect your USAA to drop again on the next term.

I have Progressive now, and I like them. When my truck got broken into this summer they were very easy to deal with and went above and beyond with trying to get me a rental car on a Sunday. Good prices too.
