Chicago Auto show - REVISITED

I took pics today, but of cars other than Chevy...Took the boys...Woke up to 3" snow this morning at 5...HIt the road at 6, and was in a cozy spot on floor 4 parking at 8:20. We were the first in the fence at 10AM....I talked to Brian the Camaro product trainer again, and was watching for people. Had a younger guy from the "other" site say hi, but didn't see anyone else. Left at about 12:30, and went to the John Hancock observatory ($19 parking, $39 admission, and a $22 photograph)....left and at a lake lunch at Gurnee Mills, Lonestar Steakhouse - $42.00 (good steak burgers!)...

So I am taped out now until I start selling cars again!

Sorry if I missed anyone. My feet and back couldn't take any more...and the Chevy side of the building was HOT and CROWDED - mo so than any other manufacturer. I wish I had 5 of those new cars on the lots right now!

I got there later than expected today and didn't stay long.
I was only there from about 1:15 to about 3:00.

I was AMAZED at the crowds of people surrounding the Camaros!
And at how few people were around the Mustangs.

I took 127 more pictures and will post them tomorrow hopefully.

I may actually head back for a 3rd time some evening during the week.

You guys are lucky to have that set up. The auto show here is small. The auto show here at one time to me was better than the world of wheels.

I started thinking, hey, where is everyone? Go up to the guy taking tickets and he looks at me and says "the show starts at 10" I said I know, here are my tickets. He says its only 9:30.

Me: ............

I'm assuming you started on the GM side right? Did you get in early or something because I noticed there wasn't anyone in the backgrounds of your pics?
I was there at 9:30 in the far left lane to get in. next to where the working people were getting in. I didn't see anyone in a Camaro sweatshirt over there but I wasn't looking either.
