Honest opinions.

Does the Tahoe look better with the rims? I of course think it does. My wife said it looks ghetto, I disagree as I have enough tire (not as much as I wanted but all terrain 22" tires are more than I wanted to spend right now) to make it look non ghetto.

I think it looks better, but I also think it needs to be dropped an inch and leveled out.

I would definitely agree with you on the dropping if it wasnt a 4X4. I want to get more aggresive tires when I have the money and maybe even lift it 2-3" but level it out when I do. I am trying to sell it so I am waiting on doing all of that. If it doesnt sell I maybe able to do it in Jan/Feb 2010 and will just keep it and pay it off as it is a good truck. I just prefer to drive a car and miss driving one. Thanks for your feedback by the way.

It looks 10x better with those wheels

Nothing wrong with dropping a 4x4, people do it all the time

New wheels definitely look better.
I would agree with the drop though, or at least just dropping the rear a couple inches to level it out.

Your wife probably thinks it looks ghetto simply because it has large shiney wheels now. With trucks, I prefer more tire than wheels, but I'm not into that lowrider or sport truck scene whatsoever.

With that said, those factory wheels are ugly, so I think it looks better.

On another note, why bother putting money into if you're trying to sell it?

Only going to put money into it if I dont sell it. I put the rims on it because I was going to keep it till I paid it off. Now that their on there. I am thinking I might get what I need for it. This way, if I dont, I dont mind driving it near as much with the new rims. I change my mind alot on what to do.

i'm prolly crazy but i like the look of the stock wheels on the Tahoes. if i were to upgrade to larger ones, i would get the factory 20"s from a new body style Tahoe. but those don't look too bad. i think they will definitely look better with those all-terrains so start saving

These particular stock ones just don't look "mean" enough. The Z71 wheels look good for a stock truck, but the uplevel LT wheels are nice too. I believe they were the flat-spoke 17's.
