Social media guru Joel Feder is currently attending a GM media event aimed at Twitterers and bloggers in Milford, Michigan, where he reported on his Twitter feed that Bob Lutz is not ruling out the return of the G8 platform to North America.
I was on the invite list for this today and could not find a sitter for my kids

Lumina SS. Simple simple simple. Really, it should be a no-brainer. We've got the platform here, and the Lumina is already a Chevy in the Middle East.

At this point, it's not going to matter.

They say they don't want to rebadge vehicles, so the Lumina would not have to change whatsoever.

Ford would've been in that business if they had developed their V8 IRS Crown Vic replacement instead of axing the car and sinking the R&D money into the Taurus. What a sad year 2010 will be, the death of the Crown Vic. IMO, it was by far the best family car on the market.
