-- Stolen AirRIde 67 Camaro --

While attending the YearOne Experience on May 20th, Air Ride Technologies discovered that their 1967 Camaro was stolen from the Hampton Inn in Buford, GA between midnight and 6:30am.

We know that the chances of us recovering this car are slim and none but we want to take our misfortune and make a positive out of it. We want to alert you all that this happened and that you need to take any precautions you can to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

If you happen to see this beautiful car at a show or running wide open down the street, call us but chances are you won't and that is OK. To let you know that this can happen and to keep your car safe and is enough for us.

For more information about our '67 Camaro contact Bret Voelkel at 812-630-1720. For more detailed information regarding the car go to this link

All that money into the car and they didn't have an anti-theft device or theft recovery module installed?

I hope car makers will take notice and include these features and call them a inexpensive necessity when compared to replacing a whole car.

How many people have a showcar like this one actually have anti-theft on them?

Personally, I'm not a fan of alarms in cars, I installed them for a couple of years and they can be more nuisance than helpful. These days I keep it insured and park it as best I can. I'd rather the automakers leave this to the aftermarket and help keep the costs of new cars down

I guess you guys missed the theft recovery device installed part in the previous post as well. It could have made a difference.

I try to keep my cars locked or garaged as much as possible. I look to park my car near surveillance cameras or in the view of the night clerk when I stay in hotels.

I know the pros will most likely get your car no matter what.
