I'm home, and I guess I'm showing off a little!

Home from work today which very rarely happens, I just figured I would hit my male ego and show off for a minute. This is what my father and I do as a hobby. We've been building hot rods together since 1995 as a hobby, we build one, drive it for a few years, sell it, and fund the next project. The first car we built in 95 was my 56 Chevy, 79 Camaro subframe, chrome removed, smoothed, etc, 2nd was Dad's 37 Chevy Coupe, this was our first street rod, that was in 1999, 69 Firebird subframe, 79 Camaro rear,56 Chevy dash, etc, Third was Mom's 64 Impala SS in 2002, that we kept original,283 powerglide, Then my 39 Chevy Sedan, first car we ever chopped,79 Camaro subframe,79 Camaro rear,57 Chevy Dash,Cadillac interior, chopped 3 inches, etc, out out latest is Dad's 49 Pontiac Woodie Wagon,77 Trans Am subframe,79 Camaro rear,87 Camaro 305 TPI Motor, all polished, and the next is my 54 Cadillac CoupeDeville, which is my dream car, we will keep that all original on the outside and inside, but I have a 2004 GTO LS1 in the garage now to power it, I know, I've beenblasted about, you cant do that, keep it original, as PowerFreak says "blah, blah.blah", its what I want, it'll be cool as heck when its done. Dad and I do everything from, body, interior, paint, fabricating, and so on, its awesome spending time my Dad, he's my best friend, and I love him more than I can tell him, its memories I'll have my whole life, well anyway, enjoy the pictures, anyone have any questions at all about anyone of the cars, fel free to ask,Dad and I just love talking shop!!

Thanks Adam, that was the first car, and actually the one I miss the most, Some cars look stupid dechromed, but for some reason, that '56 showed really well.

Ha, yeah Mike, that was my Dad's 37 Chevy, first actual street rod we ever did, its was alot of learning for us, first custom dash, first hidden hinges, first making the hood open like a coventional hood, many firsts, but its like riding a bike, once you learn, and of course screw up a few times, its becomes easier, we learn from our mistakes and love helping others out at car shows, when they say "how'd you do that", thats the love of cars for us! Thanks for the thumbs up!
