Please Help me decide on which license plate ring to use ?

I need some help from all of you on what you think would look better........

As some of you know I put my order in for my Camaro and im on the longgggggg waiting part for it to come in.
I already decided to order my personalized plates for the car so they will be here when the car comes in. Now that they are here all I have to do is hand them over to Eric and have him register them to the car.

I have a friend who's brother makes license plate rings for around the license plate and I had him make me two different ones.
I'm trying to figure out which one would look better on my Camaro.

As you see one cuts off 25% of the word Texas and the other doesnt.

The chrome ring does not come in black so thats why its chrome and the black ring does not come in chrome so its either one of these.

of course just like my 69 I ordered my 2010 camaro Yellow with black hockey stripes and a rear blackout.

Which ever plate ring goes on the 2010 Camaro the other will be put over the plates on my 69.

So which would you put on the 2010 and which would you put on the 69 ?

chrome or black ?

The 2010 has the chrome taillight rings and the 69 doesnt but the yellow on the black looks good also.

opinions please ????????

I can't believe I am saying this, but...

Chrome on the 10
Black on the 69.

I hate how the black frame covers the best part of the plate!

Or how about getting two chrome ones and painting them black! That's the ticket!

the chrome does look better since it doesn't cover the Texas part.

Yeah I hated that also Adam lol that was the first plate I wanted but then saw how it covered Texas and it bothered me a little so when he found a plate that wouldnt cover Texas it only came in chrome.

How do you paint chrome ? Better yet how do you get paint to stick to chrome ? lol

If they're free then yeah, chrome on the 10, black on the 69. Otherwise check out places like this and get black for both...
