3.6L Direct Injected V6 crate???

Anyone else think the 3.6L Direct Injected V6 should replace the 4.3L V6 on the GM parts site???

I have the strangest itch to put one in my S-blazer.... hmmmm

Anyone else have the inkling to wanna use that motor in other things besides Camaros and Caddys? (Mini-sandrail, rock crawler, boat, etc.)

Think it'll ever happen?

It's not remotely close to the 4.3, that's why. The 4.3 was a small block with two cylinders hacked off. The 4.3 will be around for as long as the small block availability is - and that's a good thing.

I doubt many people are looking at 4.3 crate engines for performance, but I can imagine they will offer a 3.6 crate at some point.

Now if they offered a 3.6L with twin turbos and at least 450hp similar to the camaro Jay Leno did, that would be one hot tamale!

I would be all over that.
