Hell has frozen over in TEXAS for the Holidays lol

Wednesday afternoon it was 76 outside
Thursday morning it was 22 with Hard blowing winds and Snow.
Roads were so warm from the day before Snow in most parts of DFW covered the ground about 4.5 inches deep with ice on the roads.
we had over 718 accidents in DFW due to the ice and wind.
I drove through Grapevine ERIC 3 Camaros were off in the ditch 2 looked to be totaled Out at my parents house in the country they got 12inches.

in 176 years of recorded Christmas time temps it has only snowed 3 times.

76 one day low of 16 the next with Blowing Snow then into rain with snow drifts everywhere what the hell is going on IN TEXAS

oh well for once XMAS felt like XMAS.

I just hate it for the people who lost there cars and to those 3 camaro owners omg im so sorry.

At 3:00 minutes into the video you see the blowing Snow how bad it was

This may not look bad to some however out where my parents live in the country snow drifts were piling up halfway to semi's ( kind of cool ) lol

sad but im laughing now at the last part because of the song playing on the radio you will hear lol

mele kalikimaka lol merry XMAS in hawaii lol hahahahahaha

And to see the mexicans push the car with that song playing how classic lol

We were told we had a slight chance. In Texas around this time of year before January saying that is like poke poke just screwing with you yeah right lol

Yeah some parts got up to 13inches here in Texas.
People see the video's and say thats it and they are having problems ?

It rained for 20 minutes when it started so the roads below the snow were Solid Ice.
Plus for the areaswith 13inches the highway department wasnt prepared for that in such a small length of time since it never happens.

I just got out a few hours ago. most cars being pulled out of the ditch today.
1 bigrig still left there in the middle of a grass median.

Yeah that sucks especially around the holiday when you have all the added traffic, then throw in the state trucks not being prepared...Yikes, thats one big southern ice skate rink!
