1948 Tucker/ahead of its time

My father sent me this link and I had heard about the car and the movie but never saw one. Its actually a cool car that was way ahead of its time. Thought you guys and girls might enjoy checking it out. http://www.laubly.com/1948tucker.htm

A car before its time for sure...I'd seen the movie and had done some semi-research before on the Tucker. It was quite a car even years later...who knows what would've happened had the company stayed around.

Just like Chief Mojo, after I watched the movie, I did a little bit of research on Preston and his Torpedo (that doesn't sound quite straight, does it?). Very enterprising individual and a very special vehicle.

There is a museum not far (maybe 30 minutes) from where I grew up that has the Tin Goose and another Tucker.
